The overall objective of people just out of a bankruptcy or those who are having credit problems for any reason should be to show potential lenders that they have learned thier lesson and are now committed to improving their credit habits.
Right out of the box, you should make sure that your credit report is as clean as you can get it. You should begin by obtaining a copy of your credit report and examining it thoroughly for errors. Having your report in top shape will help you immensely when you begin to apply for new credit.
This Credit discussion is divided into 4 parts:
(1) ROADMAP (2) FAQ (3) MYTHS (4) FIVE CREDIT SCORES
The ROADMAP section is just that. It lists the basic steps you should follow on the road to rebuilding your credit. The FAQ and MYTHS will provide an overview of credit. Don't miss the section on FIVE CREDIT SCORES which explains how credit scores are developed.
